Life @ ALKU as a Business Technology Project Manager

As ALKU continues to grow rapidly the business requires investment in technology to remain efficient, agile, and competitive. The Business Technology team is supporting and implementing an ever-expanding landscape of tools and products aligned with every aspect of the business. The Project Manager role will focus on helping to oversee and maintain the success of various projects happening at any given moment. In addition to driving specific projects, the Project Manager will also provide broader oversight to all technology projects at a program level. The role will report to the Director of Business Technology.

Day to Day:

  • Work with senior business leaders to define and maintain short- and long-term strategy with the responsibility for maintaining project portfolio and technology roadmap documentation
  • Participate in the IT Steering Committee meetings providing updates and oversight related to technology roadmap
  • Maintain library of IT documentation
  • Define, manage, and coordinate Change Management process and documentation
  • Define and document technical requirements, workflows, and desired features of technology
  • Act as liaison between company requirements and vendor projects
  • Provide tracking of key project milestones and budgets
  • Track and document metrics and create project dashboard for communication to management
  • Identify areas of risk related to resource allocation and budget shortfalls
  • Identify project critical path milestones and resolve or escalate these blockers
  • Project manage several strategic projects from discovery through go live
  • Coordinate communications with stakeholders, business leaders, vendors, and the wider company to drive programs and projects
  • Provide guidance to other Business Technology team members in the area of project management
