What is the process for finding employees through ALKU?
Our search and recruitment efforts revolve solely around matching the specifications of our clients’ needs with the highly specialized consultants we have available in our internal network. ALKU will get the details of the position from you so we will send the most qualified applicants for your needs. Taking the time to understand your needs and the requirements will ensure that we send you the best candidates.
What is the standard turnaround time we can expect from ALKU when finding a new consultant?
It is our company’s belief that by focusing our recruiting efforts on proactively building our internal network, 24-48 hours is a time frame we can comfortably deliver within.
What is the associated cost?
ALKU is committed to providing quality consultants to your company at a competitive price. We are able to offer competitive pricing as we don’t pay the overhead of an idle bench of consultants. We don’t try to fill your roles with whatever remaining consultants are on our bench, but instead will find you the exact fit for the specific need you have, making the associated cost worth the investment.
What kind of background checks do you provide?
Every applicant is reference checked based on the work history provided by the applicant. At our clients’ request, a drug screen and a criminal background check are processed as well. ALKU can provide these services as well as meet any other needs you might have for pre-employment screening.

ALKU is a highly specialized consulting firm with four divisions, each serving a single industry:
- ALKU Technologies provides quality consultants for all needs within SAP and PeopleSoft.

How soon can I start working?
Once your resume has been submitted, you will be contacted by a recruiter who is dedicated to and has experience within your highly specialized skill set. When you are contacted by the recruiter, we will then review your background and what exactly you are looking for. Once that has been established, ALKU will present the best opportunity that fulfills your needs.

How soon will I know if I have been offered a position?
Our interview-to-hire process moves very quickly. Immediately following your interview your recruiter will contact you with feedback, and within 48 hours of interviewing you will be contacted with the results of the interview and in most cases an offer by the client.
Will getting paid on time ever be an issue?
Absolutely not. This is something ALKU prides itself on doing and doing well. Each working consultant is paid on time every time.

What is a Security Clearance?
Security clearances are granted by the U.S. Government, and are used to acknowledge that someone can be trusted with sensitive information for national security purposes. A clearance may be at the Confidential, Secret, or Top-Secret level, and is typically granted through the Department of Defense or through various Intelligence Agencies.
What security clearance does ALKU require?
Many positions within ALKU require that the employee have eligibility to access classified information. The government’s investigation and adjudication period for certain clearance levels can be very lengthy. As a result, ALKU primarily considers candidates possessing current clearance eligibility as viable applicants. Security clearance requirements are usually stated in the Job Description section for each position.
If you currently hold a clearance at your present employer or through the military, it may be transferable to ALKU or the partners we support. Clearances are typically transferable for a two-year period from the date of your last security debrief. Please notify the ALKU Resource Manager handling your application if you hold a current clearance. If you cannot reveal the name of the Customer who granted the access, our Security department will determine the access level without violating any privacy requirements. For some positions, you may be required to undergo additional screening and agree to a polygraph.
I signed my offer letter, what comes next?
Once an offer letter has been signed by you and your new ALKU manager, Security will reach out to start the Crossover Process and will request specific documents depending on the program you will be supporting. In many cases, a Standard Form 86 is required for review by Security prior to being granted access to classified information. The Crossover Process may take between 2-6 weeks depending on the Customer you will be supporting. Once we have received Customer approval, your ALKU manager will reach out to you to schedule an indoctrination date and start date.
