ALKU named grand prize winner for fourth consecutive year as
leading organization for firms 201 to 500 employees
Andover, MA (March 28, 2023) – ALKU once again takes the top spot on Staffing Industry Analysts’ (SIA) Best Staffing Firms to Work For. The nationally ranked niche-based staffing and consulting firm has made the list every year since 2014. The 2023 announcement marks ALKU’s fourth year in a row as the leading organization for firms with 201-500 employees.
SIA, a global research and advisory firm focused on staffing and workforce solutions, announced the winners during its Executive Forum North America Conference in Miami, Florida. A record 450 firms sought participation in the program this year. Internal employees at each firm were asked to complete an online survey that measured key engagement categories, focusing on items including teamwork, trust in senior leaders, diversity and inclusion, manager effectiveness, compensation, and benefits.
“Being recognized on industry lists for your work as a company is always an honor. But that honor is even higher when your own workers’ ratings place you on those lists,” said Barry Asin, president of SIA.

SIA spoke to the top five grand prize winners to get a glimpse of how they set their employees up for success. In a recent interview, ALKU’s Chief Operating Officer, Jon Kujala said, “Our number one goal has always been to hire great people and develop great careers.” Kujala started with the company 13 years ago as a sales intern. He was later hired full-time to become the company’s third employee, and first-ever recruiter.
