On March 4th, about twenty members of the ALKrew headed out early to Bowl a Strike for Kids at the Academy Lanes in Haverhill, MA in support of Family Services of the Merrimack Valley! What’s a better way to spend a Friday night then Star War’s themed Bowling for an amazing cause?
Bowl a Strike for Kids is an annual fundraiser that the ALKrew looks forward to every year. This event provides funding to match children with positive adult role models so they can succeed in school, form healthy relationships, and set positive goals for their future! Not only is this event a great time but it’s an amazing way to give back!
Upon arrival, the ALKrew was greeted with “Mentoring Strikes Back” t-shirts along with a variety of food and beverages to choose from! In addition, there were lots of awesome prizes that were raffled off throughout the night to anyone who attended the event. The ALKrew separated into teams of five and bowled an enormous number of strikes.
The ALKrew had a great time and can’t wait to Bowl a Strike in 2023!
