Dennis started his ALKU career in June of 2013 as ALKU’s first intern for Quality, now known as Lifesciences! Dennis was an extremely successful recruiter who taught others and built solid and developed teams. His background led him to the position of becoming a great manager and then later becoming a Revenue Director!
Later in his career, he took on the role of building the Talent Development Department. In the past two years, he has gone from a team of one to 13 people! He has created specialized training roles, redeveloped the training program, and built a culture of supportive and passionate individuals. Dennis is focused on ALKU’s Have Fun Working Hard™ culture, which has created a wildly successful group in Talent Development. He can engage employees and get involved outside of ALKU by participating in Volunteer opportunities.
In his new role, Dennis will continue to drive the strategy for Talent Development by getting new hires up to speed quickly and efficiently, providing support, mentoring, and leadership development programming. In addition, Dennis will oversee Talent Acquisition. His experience developing leaders and building teams is a perfect fit to support Talent Acquisition in their next growth phase.
Congratulations, Dennis! We can’t wait to see all that you accomplish in this new role!
“Congrats Denny!!! I couldn’t be happier with what you have done in Talent. You have come such a long way since your intern days trekking from UNH on Friday morning, working with Andrew and me. You have always been a diligent, hard worker, and it has been a pleasure watching you grow into a strategic, creative thinker. The past couple of years for you have been incredible. So many of your ideas have come to life and have made meaningful impacts on the development of employees and the growth of ALKU. The culture you have created- a team of supportive, passionate, driven people is something to be proud of. I know Talent Development and Acquisition are in the right hands and will continue to evolve in the best ways under your guidance. Proud of you!” -Leah Bourdon
“Dennis is one of the early ALKU pioneers who helped shape the company into what it is today. He is a versatile leader who has proven his skill set in multiple pillars. Dennis was one of the most impactful leaders on the revenue side who helped develop countless leaders in our Life Science brand. He didn’t think twice when the opportunity arose to take the Talent pillar to the next level. His attention to detail in execution makes him one of the most reliable people to work with. Dennis is innovative with his ideas and doesn’t hesitate to implement them. ALKU is a great place to work because of Dennis’s effort since he was an intern driving from Durham to Andover on Friday mornings. Dennis working with the TA side of talent will be one of those moves we look back on as a huge success story for years. Looking at what he has accomplished on the TD side, you can’t help but be excited for what’s next! Congratulations on your promotion Dennis, well deserved!” – Dave Tuell
“Dennis has consistently built teams of excellence at ALKU. During his time in Life Sciences, he constructed a top-tier recruiting team and helped shape the company’s recruiting best practices. His transition into an entirely new and uncharted position in Talent has been a tremendous success. He took a concept and turned it into a team that is respected, trusted, and sought out by all revenue and corporate divisions. We look forward to watching Dennis continue to build great teams and accomplish AKLU’s aggressive Talent goals. Please join me in congratulating Dennis on his promotion to Sr. Director.” – Andrew Bull
