Emily Pacanza started with ALKU in 2019 as an Internal Recruiter, calling interns, entry-level, and full-time candidates. Since the beginning, Emily has consistently led the charge with metrics and quickly built relationships internally with ALKU’s hiring managers. She is constantly willing to help where help is needed and often says, “you tell me where I’m needed, and I will be there.” This is just a small example of the dedication and commitment Emily displays daily.
Emily is energetic, passionate, and a warm welcome to internal candidates both over the phone and in person. To this day, Emily works consistently to exceed her metrics and leads by example, which speaks for itself. Since her start as an Internal Recruiter, she is responsible for hiring over 100 full-time revenue employees, over 150 interns, and numerous members of ALKU’s Corporate team.
Emily has done it all – from hiring interns to getting new hires slated to start in our summer hiring classes, to working with post-graduate applicants. She is a leading producer and someone whom new hires and members of the Internal Recruiting team gravitate towards for help, advice, and questions. Emily is naturally competitive but is also always the first to celebrate her teammates’ successes, no matter how big or small.
With this and much more, ALKU is thrilled to announce the promotion of Emily Pacanza to Senior Internal Recruiter! In her new role, Emily will continue to produce as an individual contributor and lead by example daily. She will help to train new members of the Internal Recruiting team, mentor her team’s interns, and be a reliable resource to other Internal Recruiters.
