Haylee Reed started at ALKU in August of 2019 and immediately hit the ground running. Her desire to succeed, passion for bettering herself and those around her, and upbeat demeanor made an instant impact on the Payroll team. She quickly took over all administrative duties and proved herself as a force to be reckoned with.

When the office went remote just seven months into her ALKU career, Haylee turned a massive roadblock into an advantage. She used that time to become an expert in her field, quickly taking on more Payroll tasks while continuing to own and develop the front-end of Payroll’s processes. In what felt like the blink of an eye, Haylee had immersed herself in the world of payroll processing and began taking on more and more responsibility.

Haylee has also played a key role in a variety of the Payroll team’s implementations. Kronos, Iconixx, and Pay It Forward are just a few of the projects she has worked on in her ALKU career. Only a few shorts months ago, she was onboarding an average of 60 consultants per week while continuing to hold down the fort on all things admin. Fast forward to the summer of 2021, and Haylee has stepped it up on the processing side while our active consultant base and company have grown exponentially.

With this and much more, ALKU is thrilled to announce the promotion of Haylee Reed to Senior Payroll Coordinator! In her new role, Haylee will continue to do what she does best: paying everyone accurately and on time, while intertwining the efforts of the Payroll team with every other department that services ALKU. She will continue to be the go-to resource for all internal employees while honing her craft as a payroll processing expert.

Congratulations, Haylee! We cannot wait to see all you continue to accomplish in your senior role.

“Hayl, my Ace. I can’t even remember what it was like to do payroll without you. From the day you stepped foot in the door, I knew I was in for a treat…. probably because you were already working like 5 other jobs, and I thought we’d be lucky to get 2 days/week from you. As you’ve done so many times since then, you stunned me with your work ethic. Your commitment and passion for going about your job the right way is an absolute pleasure to witness. You never complain (unless it’s to jump on the bandwagon with me) and bring a smile to the face of anyone who’s lucky enough to work with you. I’m not sure I’ve ever met someone who cares so much about the ‘why’ behind the way we do things, and it shines through in everything you do. It’s crazy how quickly time flies when you enjoy what you do, but I truly cannot overstate how much faster it goes when you enjoy who you’re doing it with. The growth you’ve shown in these 2+ years is remarkable, but something tells me you’re just getting started. A massive CONGRATULATIONS to the most genuine, hard-working, and endearing human being. The Senior Ace has arrived!!” -Nick Dempster, Payroll Manager

“If you have a problem that needs solving, you go to Haylee. If you need someone to lean on to make sure something gets done, you go to Haylee. If you want someone to take a process and make it better than when they first received it, you go to Haylee! I can’t tell you how many emails I have received from her well after 8pm on the weekdays as well as on the weekends. It’s no surprise to anyone they call her ‘THE ACE!’ In the two short years that she has been here, she has quickly established herself as a go-to employee to turn to for difficult situations that need attention. Haylee has truly made my job so much easier because of all the things she does so well. Her work ethic is unrivaled, and I couldn’t be happier to see it being rewarded with this promotion. Congratulations, Haylee!” -Dan Sangeorge, Cost Accounting Manager

“All promotions are special but for those of you who might not know Haylee, let me tell you why this one means so much. Haylee started a little over two years ago and immediately made an impact. She joined a team of not so smiley individuals (sorry, Nick but it’s true, we aren’t) and was the shining angel light that we needed. She somehow manages to be tough but sweet and has a work ethic that is truly impressive. She works late almost every single Tuesday night and starts every Wednesday morning before 7am. She does all of this with a smile on her face and without expecting any sort of recognition. Her energy and attitude are infectious, and we are all better off just simply for knowing her.
Haylee, I am so excited for you! Congratulations on this well-deserved promotion and thank you for all that you do for ALKU!!” -Kayla Morrison, Director
