John Barrett Promoted to Senior Sales Manager, Medical Device RA & CA

John started his ALKU career in January 2019 and has become a force to be reckoned with in the staffing world. From the very beginning of his journey, John has trusted the ALKU process. He truly embodies ALKU’s Have Fun Working Hard® culture, giving his all to succeed and grow while forming strong bonds along the way. After being promoted to Sales Manager, Medical Device RS in December 2021, John led the Medical Device Regulatory & Scientific (Med RS) split in May 2022. Since then, he has launched two successful divisions, Medical Device Regulatory Affairs (Med RA) and Medical Device Clinical Affairs (Med CA). Through his determination and wisdom, John has directly managed two individuals who are on their way to becoming leaders, and he continues to be the driving force behind his two groups.

John’s impact on ALKU has spread far beyond his direct teams and coworkers. Always eager to play his part in bettering the future of ALKU, John consistently offers insight into company competitions and contests. He has served as a judge for newer hires to learn and take advice from, consistently applying what he’s learned to himself and those around him. John is one of ALKU’s most determined employees; when he sets his mind to something, there is no stopping him from not only achieving his goals but surpassing them. Outside of his role, John continues to elevate ALKU. He was chosen to be a representative on the 2023 ALKU Scholarship Committee, a group that collaborates with Mass Mentoring Partnership (MMP) to review each ALKU scholarship application and select the recipient. He is always willing to participate and volunteer in ALKU’s giving-back initiatives, having played in ALKU’s Rodman Ride Golf Tournament twice and attended multiple VTO opportunities with his team and on his own.

In his new role, John will be responsible for overseeing sales for the Medical Device Regulatory Affairs and Medical Device Clinical & Medical Affairs teams. He will be able to provide more strategic oversight to both teams moving forward and will continue to bring his teams to new levels of success. Congratulations, John!
