Kayla started her ALKU career as an Intern and worked her way up to where she is today through hard work and dedication. She started her full-time career as a Recruiter and quickly became the go-to Recruiter in Government.
Kayla continued to grow and became Government’s first-ever Senior Recruiter in August 2018. Kayla began to show interest in leadership opportunities and began to mentor several Interns, where she excelled. She was then promoted to Recruiting Manager in April 2020, and she led the recruiting efforts of Government start-up division, I&E, in 2021. She then earned her Senior Recruiting Manager promotion in January 2022.
Kayla continues to set the pace and is a role model to everyone in the Herndon office while promoting ALKU’s Have Fun Working Hard® culture. She continues to bring her positive attitude every day and assures that the next day will be better than the last, and that is something that rubs off on everyone around her! She is an incredibly thoughtful and accountable leader who holds herself to an extremely high standard and is viewed as a mentor by all. She continues to do whatever it takes to be successful and lead the charge.
In her new role, Kayla will continue to run the entire recruiting effort for the Government brand and will be responsible for the overall strategy and direction of the brand. She will continue to develop the next layer of leadership by helping Managers develop their next layer. In addition to her efforts in the Government brand, Kayla will get more involved in the overall ALKU strategy.
