Maddie started her ALKU career as one of ALKU’s first Corporate Interns and began her full-time career in June 2018. Since joining, Maddie has been highly dedicated and hardworking. She has been a critical component in building the Marketing team from four employees to a current team of 17 employees.

Throughout her career, she has grown and specialized her area of Marketing to oversee four different groups. These groups include recently taking over the Events team alongside Internal Engagement, creating a Communications group of two to support and ensure clear and concise companywide communication, developing the new role of Community Relations and recently having the largest fundraising and volunteering year ever, and Talent Marketing, a new group to support our ever-growing need to hire dedicated and motivated entry-level employees. In addition, she continues to develop her employees to be the best they can be, both personally and professionally.

Her commitment to making ALKU better shines through in everything she has done. Through various programs and initiatives, she constantly seeks ways to maintain and enhance ALKU’s Have Fun Working Hard® culture. She is the overall driver behind ALKU’s Marketing culture and company culture. She continually evaluates how ALKU operates to ensure her team supports the company best.

In her new role, she will continue to oversee Communications, Talent Marketing, Community Relations, Events, and Internal Engagement. She will drive the overall strategy for these groups and professional development. In addition, she will continue to collaborate alongside other company leaders to ensure we support all aspects of the business.

Congratulations, Maddie! We can’t wait to see all you accomplish in the new role!

“From Intern to full-time, to Manager, and now Senior Manager – I have had the pleasure of having a front-row seat at your success here at ALKU over the years. The Marketing team would not be where it is today without your leadership and knowledge. ALKU’s model specializes by dividing, and you have executed that beautifully throughout your career. At one point in your career, you were doing everything your teams are doing now. You have an innate ability to understand what the company needs and then build a world around it to support it at the highest level. This can be seen in all the groups under your leadership because half of them didn’t exist a few years ago. You have impacted the Marketing team and the company as a whole. You have been instrumental in ALKU’s overall growth, from your leadership within the AWE group to supporting companywide initiatives.

I can’t put into words how proud I am of you and all that you have accomplished, but what I am most proud of is the leader you are within the Marketing team and company – you are dependable, hardworking, and caring. Congratulations, Maddie, on your promotion to Senior Manager, Marketing – I’m so proud of you!” – Director, Marketing, Becca Crossley

MAD-DAWG!  Congratulations on your promotion!  How awesome of a journey you’re on, and you’ve had – having started as one of ALKU’s first Corporate Team Interns. You have been instrumental in the powerful collaboration that has become the partnership between Marketing and TA. I have had too much fun working with you! I appreciate your sense of humor, your ear and support of moonshot ideas, and your willingness to take on new challenges. Charity, mentorship, and giving back are so clearly your passion, and individuals on the receiving end of those initiatives are so very fortunate. I know you will continue to serve as an inspiration in that way and make sure the ALKrew is having fun while working hard.

I look forward to watching you make a new impact in your new role as Senior Manager! “ – Director, Talent Acquisition, Marissa Meyer

“It is impossible to think of Marketing without thinking of Maddie; the two go hand in hand. From culture to events to engagement, there was a point in time when Maddie was almost doing it all and always with a smile on her face. After conquering many Marketing roles, it made perfect sense to have Maddie train and develop the next level of the Marketing team to work as hard and efficiently as she did. We were so lucky the moment that Maddie decided to make that Leadership move, and we are even luckier to have her moving into the Senior Manager role today. Maddie is confident, knowledgeable, and personable—attributes essential to being a great ALKU and Senior leader. Congratulations Maddie! I am so proud of how far you have come and excited to see how far you have to go!” – Vice President, People Operations, Lauren Pacella
