What is your favorite podcast?
I am embarrassed to say that I have actually never listened to a podcast. However, the guys in the office tell me I need to listen to Spittin Chiclets, which is a hockey podcast. So I’ll get going on that before this gets published.
Who would you want to have coffee with?
George Washington. He’s one of the founding members of our country and orchestrated the biggest upset in world history. Hearing the stories and tactics behind doing so would be fascinating.
What ALKU Gives Back events or programs have you participated in?
I have raised money for the Rodman Ride for Kids each year, and I’ve participated in the ride twice. I’ve also been to numerous Mass Mentoring Partnership events, including the rewarding of our ALKU Scholarship recipients.
Are you involved in giving back in your local community?
Yes. My wife and I are involved with volunteering at our children’s schools and other organizations in town. Each year around the holiday, we adopt a family. I’ve also volunteered to coach youth sports.
What’s your career theme song?
“Everything’s Gonna Be Alright” by David Lee Murphy and Kenny Chesney.
What app can’t you live without?
Spotify is the app I enjoy most. I’m continuously listening to music, whether it’s in the car, at the beach, working in the yard, etc. But, if I’m truthful, I can’t live without the Maps app on the iPhone because I have a horrible sense of direction.
What is your favorite office lunch spot?
It was Shawsheen, but now it’s LaRosa’s. The Drunken Parm and Angry Sicilian are the go-to sandwiches there!!
What is your go-to pick from the snack closet?
I usually go for a package of mixed nuts, which is pretty lame. But around Halloween, if someone has 100 Grand bars hanging around, I’m sneaking a couple.

I Have Fun Working Hard™ by helping others as best I can and enjoy watching them succeed when they put it all together.
What is your biggest career advice?
Try not to be intimidated by things. There is nothing too challenging to understand and learn if you’re willing to put in the time and effort.

Marc began at ALKU in November of 2016. Prior to joining ALKU, Marc spent thirteen years at one of the world’s largest staffing firms in varying roles including financial reporting and analysis, accounting, and financial operations. Today, as Chief Financial Officer, Marc has ultimate responsibility of all financial operations and is responsible for the overall financial well-being of the company. He also provides support as a strategic partner within the executive team.
