What is your favorite podcast?
Pardon My Take- They interview some big names in sports and entertainment and manage never to take themselves too seriously. I know the podcast’s producer, which makes me feel like I am in on the fun.
Who would you want to have coffee with?
Carl Sagan his life, knowledge, and perspective are fascinating. “Somewhere, something incredible is waiting to be known.”
What ERGs are you a part of?
I am not currently a member of any ERGs. However, I plan to attend Unity, Pride, and State of Mind within the next six months!
What ALKU Gives Back events or programs have you participated in?
I have been involved in The Rodman Ride for Kids for six years. I’ve ridden in three of them, and each year I fundraise. In addition, I participate in the weekly Pay it Forward program, which allocates a percentage of pay to different charities.
Are you involved in giving back to your local community?
I participate in the Salvation Army’s Angel program each year around Christmas and a similar program in my hometown. In addition, I have volunteered at the Greater Boston Food Bank with team members at ALKU and look forward to future VTO opportunities where we can give back!

What app can’t you live without?
The Kindle App. I prefer a physical book, but I usually read a couple of books simultaneously. The Kindle App lets me read on the move. Honorable mentions would be Spotify/Shazam; feed me all the music.
What is your favorite office lunch spot?
Shawsheen, classic! The homemade chips are breathtaking.
What is your go-to pick from the snack closet?
Pringles are highly underrated.
How do you Have Fun Working Hard™?
I Have Fun Working Hard by celebrating others’ success, big and small. Getting to know so many different people is a privilege, and seeing those you know have success is a lot of fun. I also like to try and make people laugh, which can be fun or challenging and sometimes doesn’t work.
What is your biggest career advice?
Listening is pivotal to success. Do not criticize, complain or condemn. Instead, ask questions and seek to understand!
John Bull graduated from the University of New Hampshire and Corvinus University in Budapest. He joined ALKU as a recruiting intern in December 2013 and started his full-time ALKU career in June 2015 as a PeopleSoft Recruiter. John has carved his way to becoming the Director of Enterprise Solutions Recruiting. Today he oversees the day-to-day operations and strategic direction of Enterprise Solutions, including Workday HCM, Workday Financials, and Oracle Cloud.
