ALKU Parents and I am one of the founders of ALKU’s Women Empowered (AWE) ERG.
What ALKU Gives Back events or programs have you participated in?
I am a frequent Lazarus House volunteer, and I’m on the Mass Mentoring Partnership Scholarship Committee.
Are you involved in giving back in your local community?
Yes! I am on the board at a local nonprofit school, North Andover Youth Center. I am also on the board at Aaron’s Presents, a local charity that empowers children to help their community through various activities that teach them the importance of giving back.
What’s your career theme song?
I’ll Be There For You – by The Rembrandts (a.k.a the Friends theme song)
What app can’t you live without?
Cozi – an organization app that keeps track of my family’s schedules, shopping/to-do lists, recipes, and more!

LaRosa’s – my go-to order is the Caprese Sandwich or Burrata Salad!

I Have Fun Working Hard™ by building great relationships with my peers. It never feels like work when you get to surround yourself with people you like and respect every day!
What is your biggest career advice?
Someone wise (named Mark) once told me to “get comfortable being uncomfortable”. From this, I learned to show up prepared and take chances- it’s the only way to grow, also have fun!
Kate’s Bio:
Prior to joining ALKU, Kate held multiple roles within client services and operations in several industries. Kate joined ALKU in 2010 as one of the company’s first administrators. Her take charge personality, combined with her organizational and problem-solving skills, allowed her to take on several new roles and promotions within the company.
Today, as the HR Business Partner, Kate assists the Senior Management team by providing guidance and opinion to ensure that ALKU continues to put its best people on its best opportunities and put our leaders in positions to succeed. Kate also serves as a voice for ALKU employees as new policies and concepts are considered. Kate understands what the ALKrew needs and what is right for the company. Kate will assist the leadership team in making smart decisions and growing great leaders.
