What ERGs are you a part of?
I am not a full-time member of any ERGs but have been fortunate to attend multiple meetings as a guest including AWE, Pride, and Unity. I was also honored to receive the AWE Inspired Award in December 2020.
What ALKU Gives Back events or programs have you participated in?
I do a weekly ALKU Gives Back deduction as a part of the Pay it Forward program.
Are you involved in giving back in your local community?
I’ve been involved with multiple organizations in the Boston area. Most recently in 2020 during the pandemic, I was able to work with Career Collaborative which recently turned to Community Work Services which provides assistance around resumes building, interviewing, and career tips for underemployed and unemployed Boston inner-city residents.

What is your favorite office lunch spot?
D’Agastinos- great Italian family-owned deli in downtown Andover- tell them Dan Alberico sent ya!
What is your go-to pick from the snack closet?
Dunkaroos- although I haven’t seen them since late 2019.
How do you Have Fun Working Hard™?
I Have Fun Working Hard™ by not taking myself too seriously. This business has so many ups and downs and if you can’t laugh at yourself or the situation that occurred it is only going to make it more difficult to bounce back.
What is your biggest career advice?
Most people overestimate what they can do in a year and underestimate what they can do in five years. Trust the process, focus on getting better every single day, and don’t get too caught up in the end results and success & opportunities will come.
Nick’s Bio:
Nick started with ALKU in June 2011 as a recruiter in the General IT Division after graduating from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Nick was no stranger to working hard, spending many hours working in his family’s Italian Deli/Liquor store and working at multiple carwashes throughout the state of Massachusetts. The enthusiasm and dedication that Nick displays on a day in and day out basis are just some of the reasons as to why each and every person that has the opportunity to work with Nick is better off because of the experience! In Nick’s role as Senior Director, Nick will continue to provide leadership and guidance to all the teams under the ERP umbrella, as well as an increased presence in helping to achieve the company’s overall goals and initiatives.
