What is your favorite podcast?
Up and Vanished
Who would you want to have coffee with?
Drew Bledsoe. I’m a 90s Patriots guy. Obviously, I love Tom Brady, but he’s always been my favorite quarterback of all time. I grew up with him and Tom; hearing his story one-on-one would be cool. People forget he was one of the best quarterbacks statistically.
What ERGs are you a part of?
I am a part of the Parents ERG.
What ALKU Gives Back events or programs have you participated in?
I’ve participated in the Rodman Ride for Kids, Lazarus House Ministries, ALKU Scholarship, Lucy’s Love Bus, and I’m sure there is more that I’m forgetting!
Are you involved in giving back to your local community?
I help with a handful of fundraisers in my community on the South Shore every year. All of the money raised goes to local memorial funds.
What’s your career theme song?
“You Gotta Be” by Des’ree
What app can’t you live without?
What is your favorite office lunch spot?
Shawsheen, my go-to order is a Chicken Salad Club… in a wrap. That’s one of the three or four orders that go through my rotation. The consistency is unreal at that place.
What is your go-to pick from the snack closet?
Those sweet n salty Nature Valley bars are legit.
How do you Have Fun Working Hard™?
I do what Bob Cordaro does!
What is your biggest career advice?
Figure out what makes you happy, then find the career that can satisfy that. The JOB doesn’t have to make you happy, but it should be one that can award you the flexibility to do the things that make you happy. That flexibility can be in many forms. For some, that means financial flexibility. For others, it means personal flexibility; and for some, it means no flexibility. Challenge yourself to get where you want and create your luck. Cynicism can be your worst enemy if you allow it to be.
