Michael started his ALKU career in October of 2019 and has been an asset to his team since day one. He has always excelled in his role by continuously going above and beyond. However, this past year he has taken on so much and has exemplified exactly what we look for in an ALKU leader. He is patient, approachable, an expert in his role and he is truly dedicated to his team.
Michael has completed countless milestones including, leading quarterly bonus meetings, leading year-end close and the audit, as well as always helping to further develop his team. Outside of his day-to-day role, he participated in the Boston Marathon last year and fundraised for Mass Mentoring Partnership. Additionally, Michael is an active member of ALKU’s Pride Employee Resource Group.
In his new role, Michael will continue to oversee and develop the current and new members of the Accounting team. He will bring the group to the next level to scale to ALKU’s growth.

MICHAEL!!! I am so excited to be writing this promotion quote. Some people at ALKU may not have the pleasure of working with Mike on a day-to-day basis, but those who do know just how approachable he is and how dedicated he is to his team and the company. In the last year, Mike has been thrown into a whirlwind and has taken on: quarterly bonus tracking meetings with directors so they knew where everyone on their teams stood, helped implement a new dashboard in Iconixx to automate bonuses (more to come on this one), took the lead on year-end close and the audit simultaneously, got new members of the team up to speed, all while keeping the Accounting team on track every month and training for a marathon (!!!). Mike is someone who always stays cool, calm, and collected no matter what the circumstance is. Thanks to Mikes hard work, we recently completed our audit all while he was bringing new employees up to speed AND handling quite a workload himself. He even rolled his sleeves up on a few Saturdays when it was needed. He does all this with ease and makes it look like he has been doing it for years. His patience and understanding are something to be admired by all and are just a few of the things that will make him a great leader for years to come at ALKU. Michael!!! One of the most approachable, hardworking, and helpful people in the company. I am so excited to officially call you an Accounting MANAGER! You are someone who has gone above and beyond since the day you started at ALKU, and everything you do is done with a smile. Michael has truly made my job so much easier because of all the things he does so well. He has created processes that have helped Revenue Manager’s become much more efficient at their jobs – and I speak on behalf of all Revenue Management when I say you have made the Bonus tracking process a BREEZE for us.
