After the career fair, MK continued her research by going to ALKU’s website and Instagram account, where she saw the opportunity to build a successful career right out of college. She spoke extensively with Internal Recruiter, Wil Horne, who made her feel super excited and comfortable during the whole application process. The in-depth interviews with people throughout the company were so honest and made her think about what she was looking for in a career – and it was ALKU!
Foundation for Success
MK came in as someone that was nervous to call anyone other than her mom. Fast forward to today, after training and skills she’s received since starting, she confidently calls and connects with anyone! You’re only as good as your team, and the Infor team makes her excited to come to work and inspires her to work harder every day. Her hard work was recognized and paid off when she was named the ERP Rookie of the Year at the end of 2023. With her time just under one year at ALKU, MK has already made a name for herself!
Life at ALKU as an Infor Recruiter
Being in a start-up, MK’s day is different depending on the group’s activity and focus. It usually starts with setting her goals for the day or week, learning new skill sets, and finding expert consultants who fit those skills to add to their network. She focuses on building relationships, pushing for leads to drive business, and—as every Recruiter hopes—placing high-level consultants on amazing projects.
