How do you “Have Fun Working Hard®”?
It’s hard to come up with a specific X + Y + Z = Having Fun Working Hard formula. I say this because ALKU’s culture naturally builds and molds itself to its employees. I have a blast brainstorming, collaborating, thinking, and celebrating with my coworkers – when times are both good and not so good. No matter what, ALKU makes work feel less like work and more like an exciting opportunity.
What is your favorite way to get involved at ALKU?
I am a huge fan of quality 1-on-1 time with employees I don’t get the chance to work closely with regularly. Whether catching up over lunch with a coworker from a different department or traveling to the other ALKU office locations, remaining present in some way, shape, or form is essential to me!
What is your day-to-day life like outside of ALKU?
When I’m not on Zoomin’ or Slackin’, I love spending time with my husband, my nephew, and all of my family & friends. Utilizing more of the right side of my brain, I also enjoy spending time in the kitchen trying to make meals out of whatever’s left in the pantry & fridge!
