Walter Gillis started at ALKU in 2013 as a Billing Specialist. He embodied the Have Fun Working Hard™ mindset and brought amazing components to the department. Flash forward 8 years, he now manages 2 departments with a 3rd department in the works for 2022! Over the years, he has identified problem areas and implemented game plans to provide solutions. Walter has been an essential member of the team from the very beginning.
Walter’s motivation, hardworking attitude, and accomplishments are admired and cherished by all. He was a key component in the discovery, testing and implementation of Bullhorn1 for the last 18 months. During this time, he balanced dual jobs where he managed the Billing and Client Services teams as well as the Bullhorn1 project. Walter motivates his team and reenforced the mindset of keeping “eyes on the prize”. His dedication to supporting his team is essential and makes the team stronger. In his new role, Walter will continue to oversee the Billing and Client Services Departments. His focus will continue to be on identifying and addressing areas of concern and ultimately expanding and specializing the departments in order to alleviate these obstacles. He will work closely with his management team in streamlining the Billing and Client Services process and create ways to automate those processes.

You have expanded the Billing team into 2 Departments with more to come. “When Tarah Lovato says “I love the billing meetings” (yes, the BILLING MEETINGS!!!) you know something good is happening over there. Good things have been happening in the Billing and Client Services world for some time now. As the company has grown at an incredible pace, so have these groups.
