Zach started his ALKU career in June of 2017 and has been absolutely leveling up since. Zach is described as a responsible and successful Account Manager.  In fact, he helped to build the Medical Device Technical Engineering start-up group. During this time, he played a large role in the growth and development of new Account Managers. He was then able to have the same success when he took on the Medical Device Software and Technology start-up group. Even before Zach was a part of ALKU’s Leadership team, he was viewed as a leader and mentor for many following in his footsteps.

Zach is a key component of ALKU’s Have Fun Working Hard ™ culture. He is a positive role model to all, follows the ALKU process seamlessly, and is constantly an optimistic force for our company. Throughout his career, Zach has run sales meetings for new hires, Life Science group huddles, Life Science Leadership meetings, Role Plays, Sales Manager Meetings and so much more.

As Senior Medical Device Sales Manager, he will oversee the Medical Device Technical Engineering and Medical Device Software and Technology teams. He will lead these groups from a strategic standpoint and continue to develop Account Managers.

Congratulations, Zach! We can’t wait to see all that you accomplish in this new role!

“Zach Canto eats breaths and lives ALKU. Since meeting Zach while he was still an intern, I knew he was destined for great things at ALKU. He had a natural ability to do the job at a high level. He is the type of guy that is naturally gifted in sales. I always thought very highly of him running a desk but what has impressed me more over the years is his ability to manage. Zach is the kind of guy you want to follow into battle. His people admire him, they blindly trust him and stride to be more like him. He built one of the most successful startups in ALKU history in Medical Device TE. Since I started working closely with Zach, he was always looking for ways to elevate his career. No task is too big for him, he always finds ways to be more efficient and more productive. It is no coincidence that each of the groups he has managed have grown at a tremendous pace. Zach will continue to excel in his new role. He will oversee Medical Device TE & Medical Device ST from a strategic stand point. This promotion is very well-deserved Canto, thanks for making the job look easy and fun all along the way. Congrats brotha, MORE TO COME!!!!!” -Bob Cordaro

“The name Zach Canto is a special one. People know the name and associate it with success. Zach started as an intern not too far after I started full time and has impacted my career for the better. The moment he got involved with Medical Device, he brought a livelihood we didn’t know we needed. Bright eyed and bushy tailed, excited to dial, destined for great things, he made the rest of the team feel a sense of hope. The best part- he’s carried that with him for 5 years. Zach has a fight in him that is contagious. His passion and energy are second to none. He’s not afraid to let loose to make sure his team is having fun, but also not afraid to tell them how it is. To define Zach in one quote “Fight for the things you care about but do it in a way that will lead others to join you.” Zach’s legacy will go on with this ideal.

Zach- you are like a little brother to me. I’m so happy for you and everything you’ve accomplished.  I’ve loved watching your career blossom. It was a no brainer to have you branch off and build a new division, after all the success you’ve had and the energy you bring to the table. Never change, because we need more bright-eyed employees like you that fight for more and aren’t afraid to get their hands dirty. More than anything you’ve shown everyone you aren’t afraid to work incredibly hard- and it’s so impressive. Congratulations on Senior Manager- SO well deserved.” -Patty Blanchard

“Become one of the most sought-after interns ever to come out of a training center (with oodles of spread)? Check. Become one of the top AMs in the company in Med QVC? Check. Start your own division from scratch in Medical Device TE? Check. Create your own little internal recruiting machine for referrals of more great employees in that division? Check. Grow that division(s) (overnight)? Check.  Identify a split, new leaders, and new market? Check. Execute on the split, and grow that (also overnight)? Check. The list goes on and on and that list doesn’t even encapsulate the dedication and upbeat attitude you give to your teams/this company every day.  It takes a special kind of leader to invest so much of themselves into this place the way Zach Canto does. He has quite literally gone through it all, always giving his 100% and proving every day why he deserves what is next up for him.  Now, that “next up” is showing the way to new leaders and having them run groups as efficiently and with the same amount of investment you did. There isn’t a worry in the world that you will do just that. Thank you for all you have done and continue to do.  We would certainly not be the same without you!  Congrats on the promotion to senior manager, Zach.  Well earned, well deserved…just like everything in your ALKU career thus far. Let’s golf.” -Dave Esteves
