Twelve members of the ALKrew started their day strong on Sunday morning by participating in the 2022 Falmouth Road Race in Falmouth, MA! This was ALKU’s fifth year competing in the 7-mile Falmouth Road Race. The top fundraiser was Jenn Riedl, with a total of $2,436.15. In total, ALKU exceeded its goal of $20,000 and raised $22,451.85 in support of Mass Mentoring Partnership (MMP)!

The ALKrew that participated in this year’s race were Benefits Coordinator II, Anarianny Rodriguez, Epic Account Manager, Ashley Warren, Internal Recruiting Manager, D’Andre Drummond-Mayrie, Vice President, David Tuell, Billing Administrator, Dayne Herron, Epic Recruiter, Jake Carnes, Human Resources Manager, Jenn Riedl, Pharmaceutical AR&D Recruiter, Joseph Walsh, Executive Administrator, Markie Newhook, Senior Director of HCIT & Cybersecurity, Michael O’Brien, Payroll Manager, Pat Boodry, and Accounts Receivable Administrator, Shannon Dewar.

Leading up to the big day, the ALKrew shared testimonials, including why they wanted to run the Falmouth Road Race, their biggest running motivation, and what fundraising for MMP means. The Krew also trained together and worked hard to meet new fundraising goals!

The ALKrew member that finished the 7-mile race first was Ashley Warren who completed the race in 59:58! Way to go Ashley and the rest of the ALKrew for your hard work and dedication leading up to and on race day!

Personal achievements and company connection aside, all the runners turned out to run seven miles with a shared motivation in mind; to support MMP. MMP supports mentoring relationships through their work with over 370 mentoring and youth-serving organizations across Massachusetts. These programs help over 50,000 young people each year from Boston to Pittsfield, MA. Most of these young people come from low-income families with a single-parent households and will be the first in their families to go to college. Young people now more than ever need the support of MMP, and the ALKrew was thrilled to be able to support them through the Falmouth Road Race. The ALKrew is already back training and looking ahead to the upcoming Rodman Ride for Kids in September! This fall, we hope to meet our fundraising goal of $200,000 for MMP!
