ALKU has a powerful affiliation with Mass Mentoring Partnership (MMP), BEST Kids INC., and the Massachusetts LGBT Chamber of Commerce. All three partnerships empower youth-adult relationships across both Massachusetts and Washington DC. The ALKrew takes great pride in having this amazing opportunity and looks forward to continuing these partnerships for many years to come!

ALKU joined with MMP in 2012 and looks forward to continuing the connection. After several years of partnership, Founder and CEO Mark Eldridge joined the board in 2015. This was the same year that in collaboration with MMP, ALKU began granting a scholarship to positively impacted students in Massachusetts. This scholarship started at $20,000 and in 2020 increased to $30,000 scholarship opportunity for a 4-year university. Additionally, over the last 10 years ALKU has raised nearly $850,000 for the mentoring cause through various employee donations, fundraising events, and more!

In 2011, ALKU began participating in the annual Rodman Ride for Kids. This is an umbrella charity raising funds for youth-focused social-service organizations that support at-risk children in Massachusetts. Riders have the option of completing a 25 or 50 mile ride to support the kids!

In 2018, ALKU began participating in the Boston Marathon and continues the tradition today. The ALKrew has been positively impacted by MMP and involved in mentoring which is why this was such an awesome opportunity! Runners of the Boston Marathon support MMP by setting fundraising goals.

In 2017, the ALKrew hit the ground running in the 7-mile Falmouth Road Race in support of MMP! Fundraising goals have been established and continue to grow every year. Social Media, ALKU’s internal Slack channel, and fundraising programs help to collect donations.

ALKU is continuously looking to grow and strengthen partnerships. Visit The ALKU Foundation to learn more about ALKU’s philanthropy efforts.
