Business Development Manager (BDM), Jordan Frohnapfel saw her friend’s Facebook post about opportunities to thrive at ALKU. Her interest was piqued; she almost thought everything was made up because it seemed too good to be true. Once Jordan joined the ALKrew, she quickly found out it was fact and not fiction.

Catching Flights

Jordan was working at a restaurant with aspirations to travel and a long-distance relationship with her now husband. After learning about ALKU’s culture and financial growth opportunity, she was influenced to apply. She started in ALKU’s PeopleSoft (now Oracle Cloud) division, making an impact from day one, and quickly became a key salesperson and contributor to her team’s growth. Jordan was instrumental in the start-up of the Government Intel and Engineering division and has added three new programs as of today.

Becoming a Working (ALKU) Mom

This past year, Jordan welcomed baby Reese and joined the ranks of working ALKU moms. While on maternity leave, her team and notably Business Development Manager, Samantha Collins, went above and beyond to ensure Jordan’s clients didn’t feel her absence. Becoming a mom has involved a lot of learning and growing, and Jordan receives constant support from her boss, team, and ALKU’s Parents ERG. She has always been the type of person answering calls, emails, and Slacks before or after work, even on vacation. Now, if Jordan reaches out past a certain time, she’s normally met with, “Get offline. Go hang with Reesy.”

Life at ALKU as a Business Development Manager

Jordan loves the freedom to prospect new work for the government in her role. Whether that be new clients, customers, or skillsets. Being a BDM allows her to help guide and direct the company’s revenue while giving her the personal satisfaction she aims for. Jordan loves working with Vice President of Business Development, Dave Bruner; reporting to someone who respects you and listens to your ideas always makes work more enjoyable for her.

Jordan continues to focus on finding the government division new, exciting work and being the best mom she can be to Reese! If you’re looking for a company that grows with you, apply to be a Sales Representative.
