How do you “Have Fun Working Hard®”?
I Have Fun Working Hard by bringing energy and positivity to work every day, celebrating the wins of the people around me, and being someone my teams can always count on. I love celebrating a win, no matter how big or small. A big part of what motivates me is paying forward the support, guidance, and opportunities I’ve been given throughout my career by helping newer employees grow and succeed at ALKU. I also believe work should be fun, so I do my best to keep things light, make people laugh, build strong relationships, and create a positive environment while still getting the job done!
What is your favorite way to get involved at ALKU?
I stay involved at ALKU by participating in as many internal events as possible and getting to know as many people as I can. I feel like that’s the best way to learn and grow. I really enjoy getting to know different groups of people, building those relationships and engraining myself more in different aspects of the business.
What is your day-to-day life like outside of ALKU?
When I’m not at ALKU, I’m usually spending time with our puppy, Walter, who keeps us on our toes. I love a good dive bar, football Sundays, and trying new restaurants. I’m also a reality TV addict—if it’s on Bravo, I’m probably watching. Between hanging out with Walt and binge-watching my favorite shows, I enjoy working out, traveling, shopping, hanging out with family and spending as much time as possible on the Cape!
