Lisa Liberty

Lisa Liberty began her career at ALKU as an SAP Intern before transitioning into a full-time role as a PeopleSoft Recruiter. Throughout her time at ALKU, Lisa has continued to grow her career, holding recruiting and leadership positions across Oracle, Kronos, UKG, Dayforce, Salesforce, and SAP. Her dedication to developing others and building successful teams has been a driving force throughout her career, from mentoring interns at ALKU’s Herndon office to earning Founder’s Club recognition six times. Today, as Recruiting Director of Business Applications, Lisa oversees recruiting efforts across SAP, Salesforce, UKG, and Dayforce, where she focuses on developing talent, supporting her teams, and driving continued growth across the business.

How do you “Have Fun Working Hard®”?

I Have Fun Working Hard® by building strong personal relationships with my team and taking the time to understand what motivates them, makes them laugh, and brings them joy at work. I have the most fun when I see my teams come together to celebrate both the big and little wins. I strive to bring a positive and creative mindset to each day, while not taking myself too seriously and creating an approachable environment where everyone enjoys working together.

What is your favorite way to get involved at ALKU?

My favorite way to get involved at ALKU is by challenging myself to expand my knowledge beyond my role and building relationships with people across different areas of the business. I also enjoy participating in various Volunteer Time Off (VTO) opportunities and giving back to the community.

What is your day-to-day life like outside of ALKU?

Outside of ALKU you can find me spending time with my dogs, weekends on the cape, going to concerts or reading a good book.
