In the first quarter of 2021, ALKU expanded its highly specialized IT consulting services and Government solutions to include three new specialty areas: Amazon Web Services (AWS), Salesforce, and Intelligence Analysis and Engineering (I&E).

Despite the downturn in the industry in 2020, ALKU remained agile and resilient, finding ways to persevere and prove to be a top tier consulting services firm by expanding into three new specialized focus areas.
In a Forbes Insights report How Technology Drives Resilience, Agility and Growth, ALKU’s Senior Vice President Jon Kujala stated, “If you look at the numbers, while the entire staffing industry as a whole is estimated to have shrunk by 15%, we’ve managed to grow by 8%.”
Even through a global pandemic, ALKU managed to expand and diversify when customers needed it the most. Early into quarter one, after observing an opportunity in the industry, ALKU’s Government sector further specialized with the addition of Intelligence Analysis and Engineering solutions. ALKU reallocated talent to focus solely within the I&E space. I&E Resource Manager, Kayla Gibbs stated, “Dedicating resources and personnel to expand and grow within another niche area of I&E will strengthen our relationships with our clients, employees, and help us provide even better services.”
In addition, ALKU expanded within the IT Industry, with AWS and Salesforce Consulting Services. AWS and Salesforce consulting services created space to evolve ALKU’s niche offerings, and tailor to client’s needs. Expanding ALKU’s capabilities into the Salesforce and AWS cloud-computing space provides their customer base scalable, custom solutions and support across projects nationwide.
By further specializing within the defense space and expanding within the IT industry, ALKU can support new and existing customers immediately following a year where opportunities in the industry were scarce.
