Ali Fawaz
Director, Product and EngineeringAli graduated from the University of Glasgow and the American University of Beirut before beginning his role as Director, Product & Engineering in 2022. In his role, he is responsible for aligning the application ecosystem to ALKU’s strategic goals while focusing on coordinating product, engineering, and data projects as well as technical architecture initiatives.
How do you “Have Fun Working Hard®?”
I love what I do! Building apps is really fun and takes a lot of hard work, so I always try to have fun when coming to work every day!
What is your favorite way to get involved at ALKU?
I enjoy participating VTO opportunities! The impact and community building that comes from it is so incredible to see and be a part of.
What is your day-to-day life like outside of ALKU:
I love to cook, so I’m always looking for a new recipe; I’m also currently on the hunt for the best bakery in the Boston area! I like to play basketball whenever I can, and I spend lots of time with my son in my free time.
