Anna Kochien

Director, Personnel Services

Anna Kochien attended Saint Michael’s College, where she studied Media Studies, Journalism, and Digital Arts. She started her ALKU career in June 2015 as a Consultant Administrator. Today, Anna oversees the Personnel Services team. As a Director, her top priorities are developing strong leaders, finding new ways to specialize, and thinking strategically about growing her team and ALKU.

How do you “Have Fun Working Hard®”?
I Have Fun Working Hard® by spending time with my team! We love joking, bursting into spontaneous songs or dances, solving tricky problems, and being together. I might be biased, but they are the best.

What is your favorite way to get involved at ALKU?
There are many ways to get involved outside of your day-to-day job at ALKU, which is one of the many reasons I love working here. My favorite way in recent years has been sitting on the DE&I council. Helping make a change at ALKU motivates me, and I hope it empowers my team to do the same!

What is your day-to-day life like outside of ALKU?
When I’m not working, I spend time with my dog, June, friends, and family!
